Considering this building was originally Gare d' Orsay, the railway station, it is unlikely that they have mechanism for chiming.
The one adjacent to museum cafe has no bells in evidence, probably an unsociable cacophony if it were to chime. ;)
I don't know for sure, but I would agree with Jan. They don't seem like chiming clocks, and I don't remember ever having heard then chime when I've been there, but I doubt I would remember it, so really it's just a guess.
Problem solved! I followed kateyanne's suggestion to email the museum's website and got a reply with impressive speed. The clocks do NOT chime, so I'm going to have to think again. Thank you again, kateyanne.
