Well done Claudia. Beaten me to it again! I was out in the wind and rain to shop and post a birthday card in the hope it gets there tomorrow. Then I sat in the library - village one, not mine! - and wrote this.
The photo prompt for the Friday Fictioneers left me trying to think of a fresh take that wouldn't involve cutting down trees. I was really stumped until I trawled through some old stories and found one that I could rewrite.
I wasn't going to post a Friday Fictioneers story this week because I'm off on Saturday for several weeks and will put my blog on hold while I'm away. However, when I saw the photo prompt it reminded me of places where I've dived. With not much time to spend on this, I decided to rewrite an old OWC story:
I've started talking about my writing now on my book blog: bookwormjenblog.wordpress.com here's the link if anyone is interested. I don't always come on here these days though I do try and join the twitter chat when I'm not working-or like yesterday- or with my boyfriend on our rare time off together.

This week's 100 words. A remake of an ancient melodrama.
