Pulp Fiction - Share your Stories

edited June 2013 in - Resources
Hello Everyone,

I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce to this great community here on Talkback to a great new resource and destination to share your stories, discover great new stories and gather an audience for your work.

It's called Pulp Fiction (think of it as YouTube but for writing) and you can see how it looks & feels right here:

There are many writers who are creating some wonderful works that are not getting the relevant exposure they deserve. This is because most of the platforms to reach audiences are marketplaces (such as Amazon). It is difficult to convince someone to purchase a new or unfamiliar writer's work unless recommended or previously encountered. However, there are a large number of people who want to read new content but do not have easy access to it.

This was the motivation to build Pulp Fiction where writers and readers could mutually benefit through sharing and consuming content, while bringing exposure to content creators and creating appreciation for a writer's work. By creating this exposure, there would be more reason for that same audience to purchase their new favorite writer's content from the aforementioned marketplaces.

It's completely free to use, there is nothing sold from the application, there are no commercial profits being made off the work & your work will always belong to you. It is simply a place to share great writing and finding something exciting to read.

I wanted to share it with you all because I would love for you all to be a part of it. We are accepting story submissions at [email protected] (in docx or txt format) & you can get more information on the website: http://www.pulpfictionapp.com.

If you have any questions or concerns, I'd love to hear from you, please do drop me a line at: [email protected].
