Adlestrop remembered
At the start of the year there was a competition to write a centenary poem in the same form as Edward Thomas' famous poem.
It attracted about 200 entries; was judged by the poet PJ Kavanagh; I didn't win!!
The top 40 or so poems (including mine!!) have been anthologised in a book "Adlestrop Remembered" which is just available for £6.99. I understand that the proceeds go to the repair appeal for the parish church.
The ISBN is 978-0-9575150-3-1 and it is sold and distributed by Vine House distribution, The Old MIll House, Mill Lane, Uckfield, E Sussex TN22 5AA tel 01825 767396.
