  • I've had a duff year so far with my writing, so was uplifted to see my entry in in the final 20. It's little moments like this that keep you writing
  • Congrats, Toothlight.
  • Well done, Toothlight!
  • Thanks folks, and my day was made better when I heard that donations to help the abused stray dogs in Bosnia have been received over there after my live interview yesterday on BBC Radio Wales.....but that's another story
  • Well done, Toothlight.
  • Sadly our Malcolm Welshman did not like Oasis of Light and it was not in the prize list
  • I got a short listing also, for The Trail to Cousin Myrtle's, but once again, no cigar.

    *dusts off drawing board*
  • 2014 has been a s... year for my writing, and I am seriously thinking of having a sabbatical in 2015 except for letters to the press and any requests. Guess I'm getting too old to keep taking these disappointments.

Keep going, toothlight. That's my 13th comp shortlisting but I can't get a judge to take pity on me either. X_X
  • Sadly, snailmale, as you get older your patience decreases, and you begin to think, 'do I need all this pressure when it comes to b...all?' As for numbers, you are way ahead of me in listing
  • Blimey. Is it Victor Meldrew sound-a-like night tonight or summat?

ToothLight and S&M, get those QUALITY stories sent out again somewhere else pronto.

  • OK dorakins ^:)^
