Dose any one know how long before you get word from writing magazine letting you know if you have been short listed?

    If you win, I think it's about two months, elizabeth. They don't usually tell you of a shortlisting; you just see it in the magazine.

    I was shortlisted once in Writing Magazine and didn't know until the mog came out and people on TB told me!

    yes, we only notify the winner and runner-up, as those are the ones that will be printed and therefore unlikely to be eligible for other competitions. For everyone else who enters if you haven't heard within two months of the closing date, you're free to enter elsewhere
