Creative Writing U3A

edited February 2015 in Writing
Back from another meeting, and buzzing. Had ten focussed ladies, and I began the subject of Plotting (had a survey for subjects and this was tops) Went very well, and all have contributed to engage our first paid speaker, who I know well, this term. It is good to have a new voice & views. It will be enjoyable to be a member of the audience. Next month sees the end of the second year I have taken this group. Where has time gone?

  • Well done, toothlight.
  • During the meeting the ladies discussed Fifty Shades of Grey, and at the end, one lady helped me collect the cups for washing when the two caretakers came in to vac the room. They asked how the meeting went, and I replied: "The ladies wanted to Fifty Shades of Grey me." This (very attractive) lady looked at me and said, "In your dreams, Brian. In your dreams." How are the mighty fallen!
  • Ha ha - great story, Toothlight!
  • So, you were fighting them off? Well done.
  • Who said I 'fought them off'?
  • Say no more toothlight. We get the picture.
  • My eyes! My eyes!
