Does anyone know any good guide books that I could use when writing for YA.

I don't know any specific books for YA - but there are plenty on writing for children which cover YA.
Personally I think YA books are like adult books with different, more-YA centred themes and storylines.
Louise Jordan has written quite a good book about writing for children.
