PC to Kindle

edited April 2015 in Writing
You probably all know this already, but it came as a revelation to me that I could email a document (in this case the 3rd draft of my novel) to my Kindle and see it from a new perspective. The advice has proved very useful and I've already spotted quite a few things that my eyes glossed over on my computer screen.

  • It's also a great way for folk to email books around - I love it.

A new perspective often offers shocking revelations!
  • I'm guessing that you're referring to a Kindle Fire/Paperwhite, montholon, not the basic, original model that I have?
  • In my case 'you're' on one occasion when I meant to write 'your'. That really hurt!
  • TN, I have a very basic model and you can email to it.

    :)
  • My kindle fire has the email address somewhere in the settings-I've seen it. Wouldn't know where to find the email address for my basic kindle...

  • I might have to do that with Volcanic Race.
My daughter;s just read the latest draft and when it's time for me to have another look a fresh perspective might help.
