Strange kind of fame

My agent phoned me today to tell me she'd pulled a submission from her huge slush pile and noticed the author had said she was a huge fan of mine and my writing. As xxx is my agent she thought she might like to read her submission - made me come over all queer lol. That's the sort of thing I was doing a year or so ago and might end up doing it again if my current manuscript doesn't do it for me. (Haven't checked it wasn't my mother yet of course lol)
