  • I've just got two haikus published! I've been trying to find a home for these two for awhile. Now they've come home to roost.
  • Excellent!
  • Wonderful news Kanga - er... dare I ask, do we get to see them?
  • Well done Kangaroo! I hope this success, hot on the heels of your trip, has sent your motivation levels through the roof!  I often find that good things seem to have a habit of turning up just when you need them.
  • Congratulations. Will this lead to a collection?
  • Well done!
  • Congratulations Kangaroo, well done.
  • I stand corrected. They're poems. I've had haikus on the mind. My favourite is about Venice, I went there for the first time in January 2000. It was part of a Contiki bus tour around Europe. The second one was for a bit of fun.

    Rapture

    is Venice
    walking age old
    lamp lit streets
    and over
    ancient bridges
    drifting along
    canals
    by gondola
    in winter

    and the second one

    Rapture
is tumbling into words by Tolkien
    a stormy night
    a Harley ride
    and the last
    doughnut
  • Thankyou, I love them too.
  • Kangaroo - those two poems are great - loved 'em
  • Congratulations on yet more published work Kangaroo.  Keep up the good work.
