I've just finished reading Red Riding: 1974 and it got me thinking: do you think by Christmas 2010 the fiction shelves will be flooded with novels centred on greedy city bankers and corrupt MP's?

    Wish I had the interest to write political thrillers. There is so much material!!!

    Too right. And I have no actual interest in politics as well. I'd probably bore myself rigid trying to write something!
