Something new that I've tried just this week for my blog(s) is including narrative fiction. This is my only my second attempt at it, and I decided to do it...in a single evening. I hope anyone who reads enjoys it.
Depending on circumstances, I'll carry on doing this alongside my other things including the "Crazy Ideas" bit, my normal articles and the promo stuff (kinda necessary for a selfpub author).
Thought it was about time I updated my blog again and the village pub has been providing inspiration of late - and I haven't even been inside! http://www.adbwilliams.co.uk/blog/
Here we go again with Friday Fictioneers. This week I've adapted a non-fiction travel essay. (Something I've done before because the real story is so good.)
Have you deliberately changed your blog so that we always have to click to prove we're not robots, PM? Unless you have a specific reason, would you consider disabling it? It's quite irritating because it takes up precious seconds waiting for the thing to connect. I actually don't comment on other peoples' blogs that have this enabled - I make an exception for you.
After a soggy start the day has turned sunny and I have just returned from a bracing walk around the village. Today's quote outside the pub was clearly aimed at writers so I added a new post to the blog to include it. http://www.adbwilliams.co.uk/blog/
I think it's 'the system', Lizy. It used to be easier to comment on Blogger from Wordpress accounts and vice versa, but something got changed. Blogs used to accept comments from all kinds of devices, now we're supposed to pick if we want them accessed best by phones or computers. GDPR has caused some confusion too.
Last week I went Christmas shopping with my daughter and we commented afterwards how few shops looked really festive. They had lights and colour as they do all year but nothing especially seasonal. I've written a blog entry recalling childhood offerings. I wonder if others feel the same.
Carol, however carefully we plan life always has other ideas and it is in taking these on board and adjusting accordingly that we succeed in the end. It is indeed a good time to take stock and rewrite those to do lists whilst recognising the steps that have already been achieved. Your blog did this very well and well done on your award.

Your story could be a first date after an online chatroom affair.
I too, like Wordy, would like to read a longer version, so many strange possibilities.
Smashing read, Claudia.
