ghost poem prize
Writing Magazine have just emailed to say I have won second prize in the Ghost poem competition!
I have hunted around for my copy of the November issue where the competition details were announced, and I can't find it anywhere. Could some kind person please look at their copy and tell me how much the prize is for coming second, and if it gives any idea of which month the poem will be published? Thanks.

First prize is £100 and the second placegetter (you) receives £50. Bravo!

Oops, forgot to mention that WM say they hope to publish the winning short story in the May issue. It doesn't give a date for the poetry, only that the poetry winners will be published in the magazine and on the website. I presume it would be the same month.
I don't think it will be on the web site never seen any poems published on there?
There only seem to be old poems on the 'archive' part of the website - I think they just put them in the mag now (which is much nicer!)
There are only a few poems, right at the bottom, and the same ones have been there ever since I've been looking at the site.
Will look forward to reading it

It seems to be general practice now that WN/WM publish all the winning poems in the magazine, along with a judge's commentary on all the prize winning poems.
