The Bookshelf Muse

edited February 2010 in - Reading
Found this addy in March's WM or WN (can't remember which). Anyone else look at this website and do you find it useful?

http://thebookshelfmuse.blogspot.com/

It is full of descriptions to help you with your writing.

Or do you know of another similar one that is just as useful, or better?

Thanks

  • Looks interesting, Dora. I've bookmarked it, thanks.
  • I'll have a more thorough look tonight.
  • Angela, who writes this blog, is a Moderator over at Critique Circle, which is where I spend most of my time these days. She's very nice and has created some really good 'thesauruses' on her blog. The best one, I think is her Emotions Thesaurus which gives lots of different examples of phrases you can use to describe each emotion. So when you get tired of using 'he frowned' to describe someone who's worrying, you can go on there and find something different. It's one of the most useful blogs around I think.
  • Well next time you see her Nena, you can tell her it has my approval. :)

    Will do, Dora! :D
