Wehay, the autumn issue of This England contains a piece I wrote about Savernake Forest. This means I've met my self-imposed target of getting published in a further two different magazines this year!

dorothyd, I didn't know that This England's editor is particularly critical. All the articles I've submitted to him have either been published or kept for further consideration. Maybe I've just been lucky and hit the right tone in the articles I sent him.

He rejected quite a few of mine until I scored with one on Dymock and the Dymock Poets, which appeared in Evergreen. He has limited space and usually enough articles for five years ahead, so to get in means you are writing just what he wants.
