(writing) marketing your work

edited August 2010 in - Resources
When attempting to market the duke's book, I contacted Greenleaf Books in the States. They wanted money toward the publication and didn't seem to understand I didn't have any money, or didn't want to understand that ... we had a chat long distance, their cost. Today I had an email from them with this link for an overview of marketing, which I am posting because it may be of interest to those who are attempting to get their marketing on course.

  • I couldn't get the link address to work, Dorothy. Is it correct, d'you think?
  • I copied it from their site, but I just realised resources was wrong, just went in and edited it.
  • I pasted the above address into my browser just now, but got a page could not be found.
  • It's http://www.greenleafbookgroup.com/content/tips-and-resources-successfully-market-book-marketing-resouces-overview

If that doesn't work for you go to http://www.greenleafbookgroup.com and choose the Resources tab then Marketing Resources from the drop-down menu.
  • It worked with the http in front.
  • Any connection with the Greenleaf books of Columbo fame (Jack Cassidy was the guest star)?
  • Perhaps that's where the name came from...;)
  • no idea.
I only catch bits of Columbo when Jill decides to watch it - she being in charge of the remote.
  • I'd be careful of what bits of Columbo you catch dorothy. Have you seen the state of his raincoat? Eeeuw.
  • I agree with you, Dora, I mean, right after Sunday lunch and all ...
