edited September 2010 in - Writing Problems
When submitting photos with an article, if some were supplied by the place I'm writing about would I credit their photos as "Photo used with kind permission of ..." or "Photo courtesy of ..."?

  • photo courtesy of, is the wording we put in our books when using a photographer's work.

You probably know this but do check what rights, cover any photos submitted with an article.
  • Just make it clear where all your submitted photos have come from (and confirm you have their permission) and leave the wording of the creditation to the publication.
  • I agree with Claudia - state who holds the copyright and that you have their permission to use the picture and leave the wording up to the publishers.
