Story published in this weeks WW

I've just returned from two weeks in sunny Malta (27 degrees today) and found that my story Too Clever by Half appears in this weeks WW. Chuffed to bits. For people's info, they have cut quite a bit out, probably to fit onto two pages, so 1800 words is probably the max.

Thanks to everyone and congratulations to Viv. I look forward to reading Back to School in the Fiction Special. I think mine was cut to fit the weekly magazine. There does seem to be more scope for longer stories in the Fiction Special. I'm going through my ms and highlighting all the bits they've cut out hoping to learn from them. Still chuffed to bits though.

It's in the issue dated 5th October. I tried to get one today but they have the new ones in, dated 12th October, so I must have missed it while I was away. Serves me right for going to sunny Malta instead of working. At least I have the copy they sent me, so all is not lost.
