Thanks once more to those Talkbackers who were kind enough to answer my questions about medical matters for the story.

    glad I could help.

  • Well done, Jay.
  • Hope you've sorted your medical problem out!
(Tell me, is it in the genes?)
  • Congratulations Jay!
  • They do get a mention, Marc. Oh, I thought you said 'jeans'. :)
  • Congrats Jay!
  • Yes darling, we know its in the jeans. Its when it's out of the jeans it starts to get interesting!!
  • Congratulations, Jay.
  • Thanks, everyone. The book has a Look Inside facility on Amazon.
  • Well done, Jay. Just going to look ...
  • Just looked ! Great stuff in there Jay... and I need the rest of Pillion :)

How does Amazon decide which parts of the book to put in the "look inside" ? I mean, is it luck or good management that Pillion is previewed ?
( Or, just thought, maybe it's the publisher and not Amazon that decides. Just remembered I might have done that myself )
  • Glad you liked what you read, Lexia.

Presumably the publisher says whether a book may be viewed. Amazon UK let you read 20%, I think. My story's towards the front, so that may mean it's more likely to be viewed, although you can't read every page of it.
  • Fantastic news, Jay. Well done!
  • Congratulations, Jay - great news.
  • Thanks. I've just noticed that they did change my (car) boot to trunk. Oh, well.
  • well done Jay

    Who outed it? Congratulations!
  • Thanks. The publishers must have. The editor, who's Canadian, had no objection.
  • Delighted for ya! :) Very well done, Jay. When I clicked on the 'look inside' I got a snippet of the first story, so perhaps it's a random thing?

Thanks. I think it is random-ish, but readers probably end up reading the start of the anthology.

Directly under the word 'feedback' or 'close' is a small cursor/arrow which you can move down. You may be able to read more - not sure if you have to have bought books from Amazon to be able to do this.

Are those of you who read Pillion, when checking the medical aspect, surprised at Lambda's comments?

This MIGHT take you to page 44 of BGR2011 for Pillion:

Not sure how much you'll be able to read, though.

Ah. There is some sex in it. You have been warned!
  • Very pleased for you Jay.Well done.
  • Thanks, Francis. I've managed to get into BGR2012, too, so that's four in a row.
  • Does my memory deceive me, Jay? Nobody was 'taken home semi-conscious' were they?
  • Those don't sound like my words!
  • Many congrats..xx
