For anyone interested in haiku

edited June 2011 in - Writing Tales
I managed to get some of my poetry published in 'Shamrock' the journal of the Irish Haiku Society. If you fancy submitting some of your haiku, the details are in the link below, which is the current edition. The editor Anatoly Kudryavitsky - who is of Russian / Irish descent - was very helpful and got me to rewrite one line of the first, but accepted the other three unedited, which gave me a real boost! :)

You need to scroll down a bit to come to my little contribution - just past the article on Ezra Pound and Haiku. Mine are under my real name (Marion Clarke)

  • Well done Seaview.
  • Lovely Haiku. Congratulations on your entries !

There is some really interesting stuff on that link too. I am especially interested in the different interpretation of what Haiku consists of.

Will look some more ... :)
