    Damp. We had rain overnight, though I didn't hear it.

    Cloudy most of the day until about 4pm. Then the sun came out and it’s now a lovely evening.

    Same here, Carol - I walked up for Don's paper thinking how lucky my niece was yesterday with the weather - today it is quite chilly.

    Breezy and murky cloud cover.

    It's warming up, and I can see patches of blue sky between the clouds. Haven't seen blue sky for days.

    It's cool again today, but at least the cloud cover isn't as dense as it's been.

    It's been really hot today, and I walked to the pub at the far end of the village without even a cardigan. Came home in a glorious sunset, looked at the washing on the line, and was tempted to leave it, but I brought it in. Ten minutes later, I kid you not, thunder and torrential rain!

    Wow that was good you got the washing in then Lizy.

    We've not had any thunder or rain here yet and I was able to sleep with all windows open to allow in a gentle and cool breeze which allowed me a full undisturbed slumber.  Weather still quietly pleasant here though storms are forecast

    It's cooler now and there are thin clouds moving in.

    No sign of the rain yet.

    Yesterday evening we had a tiny amount of rain, enough to dampen the paving and that was it. No thunderstorm or heavy rain that was predicted.

    It's cool but comfortable. But I can see bands of dark clouds lurking and the sun is behind them.
