Is NetGalley useful?

edited February 2017 in Writing
I sometimes wonder if I am naive or too isolated from technology. I have only yesterday learnt of https://s2.netgalley.com/ an wonder if it is used by fellow members? (In asking this, I recognise a 'possibly' similar service offered by current active member.)

It's used by TBers, and TBers are also registered as reviewers. You'll probably find more about it via the ALLi group where members use it more often. If you haven't joined that Facebook group yet, look on the blog:

You'd have a cost implication (with NetGalley) and there's no guarantee you will receive a favourable review. I've seen many that are pretty brutal (but honest).

If I get a chance to read indie books for pleasure I always review them. I think we all know how important reviews are.
