Writer/Scriptwriter Partnerships
I'm wondering how I'd go about forming a partnership with a scriptwriter with a view to translating and pitching short stories for a television series (along the lines of Roald Dahl'sTales of the Unexpected) or one-off independent short film productions. Has anyone had any experience of this?
I've tried using Movie Magic's Screenwriter programme as a solo effort but quickly found that I don't have the 'wider' thought processes to make anything of it, never mind pitch the ideas. A Google search has drawn a blank on scriptwriters looking for ideas so perhaps it's an in-house partnership. Any advice would be appreciated.
By the way, I've been writing for 20 years so reasonably proficient in plots.
