edited June 2006 in - Writing Tales

  • I can't believe it - my phone rang. When I answered, I was speaking to an editor from a nursing journal who has commissioned me to write two (yes, not just one!) articles - for money. You could knock me down with a feather, at the time. I was astounded. Now to earn the cash, all I need to do is write the things....
  • Great news, get to it, earn the money and bask in the glow of sucess.
  • Hey!

    Well done, now get writing!

    Revel in the glory :o)
  • That's great. I'm pleased for you. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that someone is prepared to pay for what you write. Good luck.
  • Congratulations!
  • Congratulations Fonenurse,

Glorify in this news a short while.
Give yourself a deadline five days before that which the editor has given.
Write and rest, edit and rest then edit again.

    Good luck.
  • Get stuck in - strike while the iron's hot.
  • Well done, Fonenurse!
  • Thats great news :O)

    Gary and Carol :O)
  • Awesome, Fonenurse!!! Well done :)
  • Well done Fonenurse!
  • Thank you all - not as easy as it sounds - still researching for my article, but I am still amazed at the commission
  • Congrats from me too! Now the hard bit starts - writing the items.
  • Hard but rewarding. You never know, during your research you could unearth more material for other articles. Don't forget you can re-cycle the article around the world afterwards. Congrats!
