First time

  • I saw my book in Waterstones today.  Although it has been listed on Amazon, Play.com etc for a while (so people could place advance orders), it was the first time I've actually seen my book on sale!

Walking away from it was strange - I felt like I'd left something of mine behind and I should go back and pick it up!
  • How exciting Jacey. It must be a very strange feeling.
  • Did you feel like picking the book up and shouting 'I wrote this'?
  • Maybe you should have asked them if they'd like a signed copy! Well done.
  • That must have felt so good and weird at the same time. Congratulations!
  • A moment to remember indeed!
  • Thank you everyone!

Stan, I did pick a book up, but I resisted the urge to shout out! Jay, that's not a bad idea - they say a "signed book is a sold book" don't they, because the bookshops can't return signed copies! (On sale or return)
  • Brilliant jacey.  It must be an incredible feeling to see your book on the shelf.  What is it called - I'll go in to our Waterstones and find it, then tell anyone who happens to be nearby that you are a friend!
