    Hi all! Just a question... what do you think of the increasing use of the form 'to not' instead of the more correct(or so I believed) 'not to'?
    To be or not to be... or is it to be or to not be? confused.....

    I think split infinitives are still considered incorrect but it's not a heinous crime these days. I'd have thought that it's best to avoid them if possible but if it makes the writing seem too formal, well OK.
