There was an article about 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue' in the paper yesterday.

I like the historic postcards section ie
From Samuel Morse 'Dear Dot must dash'
From Pompeii ' Vesuvius erupted last night we were all petrified.'

Can you think of any?
I have, From Walter Raleigh to his wife 'I laughed my head off.'
