Formatting query

When I copy a poem I've composed directly on Twitter and paste it into a Word document, the lines are each enclosed in a box.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the boxes?

You need to copy and paste it into Windows' notepad first. That removes it, then you cut the text from there and then paste. You then format for your Word document as needed.
  • I've never used notepad - do I have to download it?
  • You just highlight it and click an icon at the top of the Word document on the toolbar which will remove the formatting. I think it's a rubber (I'm typing this on my phone).
  • You don't need Notepad my way!
  • I'll try that after breakfast, thanks TN.
  • For future reference, Notepad app is in the Windows Accessories option.
