Neil Gaiman The Graveyard Book

edited August 2009 in - Reading
Just finished reading and must admit, had tears in my eyes at the ending.

Am I alone in this?

  • One of my sons who has read it (and wants a sequel) has just described the ending to me- I think it is probably because you are a mother Dora, and it might get to those motherly instincts...
    I haven't read it myself.
  • It won a Hugo for best book at the Fantasy Worldcon recently. It's also up for the World Fantasy award. He's a damn fine writer.
  • Certainly is. We had the pleasure of hearing him reading a draft at Bath Children's Lit Fest two years ago.
  • It's a lovely book and I had teary eyes too.
