Interview with an Award Winning Publisher

edited November 2010 in - Resources
For anyone who maybe interested I've posted an interview with the Managing Director, Keith Charters and Commissioning Editor, Graham Watson of Strident Publishing on my blog.

I've been devoting the past month to Strident and its award winning authors so there are also three interviews with authors at different stages of their career.
DA Nelson http://talltalesandshortstories.blogspot.com/2010/11/interview-with-author-d-nelson.html
Gillian Philip http://talltalesandshortstories.blogspot.com/2010/11/interview-with-author-gillian-philip.html
Nick Green http://talltalesandshortstories.blogspot.com/2010/11/interview-with-debut-author-nick-green.html

For writers of any genre they offer some great writing advice.
Tracy :)

That's such an interesting interview with Strident. Thanks so much Tracy. I like the bit about not shying away from your characters' less appealing /more interesting taits. For a newish company haven't they done fantastically in just a few years?
  • Thanks Daisy - glad you enjoyed it. They've certainly chosen to publish some award winners in that short time and have developed quite a profile.
  • Another publisher accepting unsolicited manuscripts - brill! I will be submitting to them soon (and have added them to my list at http://loutreleaven.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/childrens-publishers-accepting-unsolicited-manuscripts/).
  • I'll read your interviews later tonight, Tracy. Always useful as pointers for us.
