Words with Jam First Page Comp closes 29th April

I've just had a reminder about this comp which closes on 29th April. They're asking for up to four hundred words that could be the opening of a novel - or not. I know there's not much time, but it's free to enter by e-mail and 400 words should be possible if you're not too busy eating hot cross buns and Easter Eggs. Good luck everyone.

Thanks for the reminder casey but according to the website:
You can submit more than one entry. First entry submitted is £5. Or £8 for two

Sorry - you're right SusieM. I just got an e-mail reminder which didn't give details. Oh B**s I've done an entry for this but won't send it now. £5 for 400 words is too much. I'd pay £5 for a 2000 word short story, but not for anything shorter.

Me too, Casey. I'm limiting my entries to competition that charge £5 and above unless it's something I'm really interested in.
