Each time we hold hands, hold a door handle, press an elevator button etc, someone else's DNA is transferred to our skin, meaning that a totally innocent person's DNA can appear anywhere in the world rapidly. Makes you think, doesn't it? I'm sure many people have had a tense period trying to quash circumstantial evidence issues because of this.
The world is awash with DNA fragments...next time you drink a glass of water, imagine what it has acquired on route to you (nice thought eh?)
