Welcome to Writers Talkback. If you are a new user, your account will have to be approved manually to prevent spam. Please bear with us in the meantime
I'm setting up a new online magazine for short stories call Running out of Ink. We're now accepting submissions for the website and I would love if some of my friends from TB entered. The site won't be running until October but I've posted the submission guidelines below. You can also hear more about the site from my blog piece at Shortbread Stories: http://www.shortbreadstories.co.uk/member/view/shortbread/blog/running_out_of_ink/#axzz26YQsRJk9
We are currently accepting submissions for fiction of 2500 words or less. We believe variety is important, so all genres are welcome as long as they are well written. However, any edgy content should be necessary to the story.
Please submit your stories as a word .doc format or in the body of the email. Work must be previously unpublished but we do accept simultaneous submissions as long as you advise us of this in your original email and let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. Please only submit one piece per issue.
While we regret we are unable to pay our writers, this ezine provides an excellent method for new writers to gain a voice as well as adding to the resume for existing writers.

If so, have a look in the 'contact me' section about 'people who publish' for what to do. (Please remind me you're forget-me-not from TB if you respond)
I love what you've said about being able to look back in years to come and be proud of your achievement, and what you've said about makng your own tools. :)
Good luck. :)
Nice introductory blog too.
Good luck with it, forgetmenot.
:P
edited to add - could you clarify your email address?
[email protected] doesn't work!
Looks great forget-me-not - have read one already tho I am supposed to be working :) You might find this web site helpful in resolving the browser issues http://browsershots.org/ or W3C validation http://validator.w3.org/. In Firefox 6.0.2 under Linux the menus wrap and the vertical dividers are not in the right place. Looks great despite that tho ! Well done !
Best of luck forget-me-not.
Can you explain for dimbos like me, please, what difference it makes?
:)
