Non-fiction writing recommendations
Does anyone have recommendations for good books on non-fiction writing? I've found a book on Amazon by William Zinsser, but ideally I'd like a book written by someone in the UK with advice specific for our market.

Both of them are succesful article writers themselves.

It looks interesting and I'm wondering if it's worth spending money on.
Simon's books are very readable, full of practical advice and, as the title of one suggests, very upbeat. I believe the Complete Article Writer came out of his blog for students on a writing course he tutored.
Andrew Crofts book has been around a while although no doubt updated at some stage and is good for those starting out as it shows the wide range of outlets that can be considered.
I have not seen Susie's book so unable to comment on that.
