Has anyone else seen the billboard ads for the Sky adaption of The Take?

Urgh! It looks so . . . so . . . sleazy! Especially considering how slick her jacket designs are!

If someone did that to my book I would cry!

  • Not seen it Stirling, but often these billboards aren't in the easiest places to see if you are a pedestrian.
  • Perhaps I should add that there is not one I can think of in Nottingham city centre, they're in smaller towns and the ring road.

If it's anything like the ads they're running on Sky at the mo, Stirling, I can see what you mean.

Nor entirely unrelated is this blog by C S Harris (Candice Proctor). Go down to the May 29th entry - 'of Heaven and Hell' and read of how distraught she was at the visions that her publisher had for her work.

  • I think I can get an image from google.

I know I was a little girl in the eighties; but I don't remember it being like this!
  • Not the poster; but the same image.

  • The guy on the left image wise is okay for the 80's but the others... Mind you if the one in the red is trying to do a young Madonna imitation...
What sort of wording was there on the billboard Stirling?
