Candis Fiction Guidelines/Short Stories

Hi, guidelines on their website request 2,300 - 2,500 words, but it seems this is web only, because on contacting the magazine, I was told it's 2,000 only for inclusion in the magazine. However, can't seem to get these guidelines. Can anyone help?

They used to want just 2,000 words, but now want more.

I sent some 2000 worders a while ago and was told by the fiction editor that the word requirement had increased to 2300 -2500 and they won't look at anything less than 2200.

I've sold them a few stories - any that were under 2,500 I was asked to increase to 2,500 and the editor told me she wants all further submissions to be 2,500.

Womagwriter's guidelines were correct in 2008.

Does anyone receive Candis? I don't know anyone who reads it. I had a copy to look at and it's a good little mag.

It is interesting. If I was going to subscribe to a woman's type mag, that's the one I'd go for. (I already get far more mags than I can keep up with connected with my other interests)
