Writing Serials for Women's magazines

edited February 2011 in - Resources
Joanna Barnden is running a 1 day course on how to write serials for women's magazines in April in the Midlands.
I've been on 2 of Joanna's previous courses and they are immensely enjoyable.

  • Would have been interested to go, but it is a weekday.
  • Looks interesting, and fun. :)

Yet beyond my price bracket unfortunately. :(

Thanks for the info anyway, Sally.
  • A goodly amount of money, but if you are serious about womags, probably worth it. Not for me, but thanks for posting it, Sally.
    Nice looking blog, BTW.
  • Thank you for the info, Sally. I won't be able to attend, unfortunately, but your post has alerted me to your blog, which I've browsed. It looks really interesting and useful. I've signed up to receive notification of new posts.
  • Not to mention the cost of travel no doubt.
  • If you live in surrounding counties Woll it wouldn't be too bad cost wise, car or train. But if you live further away then it does make it expensive for a day.
  • Thanks, sally. I'd love to go to that but won't be able. I've got this morning off but it doesn't happen every week!
  • I forgot to mention that Joanna also does critiques of WOMAG stories for £10 a time (including a re-read after you've implemented her suggestions).
