Decided to take this out - too traumatic and not probably ideal for a forum.

    Having suffered a still-birth it is not a light-hearted subject, and certainly doesn't have a place in a romantic comedy.

    I can't imagine the pain involved and you might be right I may have to take it out - too difficult to deal with...

    No, doesn't seem appropriate. My mom always remembers the loss of her first child every 23rd December, and still gets upset listening to Silent Night -- 40 years later.

    Always seems to be that time of year, it was New Year for me 19 years ago.
