This book had me in stiches. Absolutly hillarious. Well, 99% of it anyway. Well worth a read if, like me, you need cheering up. Ann Widderwhateveryoucallher wasn't funny however. Although should I be suprised? She is indeed a grumpy old women but a funny grumpy old woman I think not.

I watch the tv programme and the make some great observations, but most of their grumbling is at young girls who are resented because they are young girls.  I'm only twenty five, but there is no way I would want to be eighteen again.  I would hate to be like them in twenty years time, I would love to be like my work colleague Anne, active and high on life.
