    Hahaha, rather a different choice I know, but I used to be addicted to Chick-lit, and Sophie Kinsella (not her real name) in particular. I've read all of her novels, and have really enjoyed all of them. But come 2007, it appears as though my chick-lit days are coming to a close. Well, at least with Kinsella anyway. This novel was rather dissapointing and the character Becky Bloomwood appears to have become rather dull, and very, very predictable in her actions. Although, that is quiet possibly one of the attractions for many readers of chick-lit.

    Chick-lit has probably had it's day as the in thing to buy, or your tastes have advanced and that's why it isn't so satisfying.
    Mind you, even my favourite writers produce bummers sometimes.
