  • I Googled myself and found someone who'd read one of my books. I e-mailed him, and I've just received his reply:

    'Jay,
I'm delighted and honored to receive your message. You are one of my favorite authors. In addition to "A Different Kind of Love," I have also read and enjoyed "The Loss Of Innocence" and "The Dandelion Clock."

You are wonderful writer and your stories and characters are so creative and real. I'm glad I discovered you through Amazon.com. I look forward to reading more of your work.

Thank you very much for taking the time to send me an email.'

Ahhhhh ... (that's me, by the way)
  • a real fan and it was good of you to email him, Jay!
  • When you receive praise like that, all the hard work you put in writing the books is worth while.

  • Jay - That's a message to print, frame and look at often!
  • That's wonderful, Jay.
  • That's great news Jay!
  • What moral boost - well done
  • What a great lift that must have given you.  Now, Jay, don't look back!
  • I was going to say the same as Tim. That's a lovely recommendation.
  • I must admit it's nice when something like this happens.
