Church Times competition

  • The Church Times (weekly newspaper for the Church of England) recently ran a competition.  It was their 7,500th edition, and they wanted readers to send in 75 words on what the church would be like in 75 years, with a prize of £750.
There were some very good entries (quite a few female archbishops and churches on the moon and Mars, for instance).  I didn't win, but I was amongst those chosen to be printed in this week's edition!
  • Well done, Evaine. Every achievement is a great success. Keep up the good work! Congrats from me.
  • Well done Evaine, a cutting for your folder of printed work.
  • Hi Hay-on-Wye. I don't get the Church Times but would be very interested to know - even the gist -of the winning entry. An interesting comp with a very good prize. Congrats on being printed. Sorry you didn't win!
  • Congratulations on your words in print. Keep up the good work throughout 2007.
  • Well done!
  • Well done Evaine.
