Encouraging letter from an agent

  • I returned home from holiday to find a letter from an agent who liked the three chapters and synopsis and wants me to send the rest of the  book. I'm not counting my chickens, but it's my best result so far.
  • You are right not to count your chickens but it's positive news so let hope that the agent will enjoy the rest of the book.  What kind of novel is it?
  • At least that is a positive sign. Fingers crossed.
  • Best of luck.
  • That's really encouraging news - good luck
  • This is wonderful news, and a big step forward. Well done.
  • Spitting with jealousy!! Well done - !
  • Best of luck Montholon. I hope it all works out OK
  • To answer Writeman's question, it's my first attempt at a story for younger teenagers.  Optimistic and firmly grounded in reality.
  • Time Montholon,
To be writing the sequel(s?). Think and act positive, good luck.
  • Good idea.  I finished with a hook onto which I could hang a sequel, because I've heard that publishers aren't very interested in one off books these days.
