    A good result well done. Do you think the flash fiction genre will be more substantial as time goes on?

    There seems to be a reasonable number of outlets for flash fiction, and it's obviously a lot quicker to write than a short story or novel - there's no excuse for 'not having the time'. It's also another way of getting your name noticed, so may become more popular if writers are finding it hard to get their novels published by mainstream publishing houses.
