Do use the BBC's web pages and watch tonight's Newsnight- again. Interesting discussion about writing and the novel.

Thanks again Carol. I've just watched it and found it very interesting. It starts at about 38 mins for those who wish to skip to the start.
I particularly found it interesting when Amis and Banville were discussing the Novel and how it's evolved. It's a pity they didn't have longer.

Yes, I thought it was very interesting, especially the bit where Banville was talking about talent, and learning.
