Just browsing the Glass Woman Prize rules etc and read last years winner. Felt it was worth sharing....

Absolutely nothing to lose-it's free entry-it's surely got to be worth a go
Says she who didn't complete the story destined for this last year :( but who is definitely 'having a go' this year :)
Actually me too tonight-written a couple of pages but it all seems a bit trite-but will get the brain into gear tomorrow hopefully
Didn't see the 'twist' coming
Short and neat, very well done that winner
I didn't see the twist coming-which is always a plus
I did. But that doesn't take away from the power and quality of it. I suppose because I have written a couple of similar things in this genre and a lot of my reading over the past years have been connected with the subject.
Worthy winner. Might take a look at the competition - but clearly I would have to write something TOTALLY different !
I did think the winning story was very powerful, but I did feel like I'd read it before. It reminded me very much of the ending of a well-known book (which I won't name in case any of you haven't read it.) That said, there are very few 'new' ideas and the writing was excellent. The previous comps winner was even better, in my view.
here tis.

Interesting competition, I think, for a change it is something that really interests me.
