  • I like the sun. Don't like the heat so am wearing a damp tshirt what I've just washed to keep myself cool

    Cloud burning off now
  • Rainy rainy rainy rainy rainy rainy rain.

    Yaaay!

Still sunny tho despite the downpour.
  • I think we all know the answer to the question posed by this thread. B-)
  • Tis hot. Twas very hot this afternoon. Gave Lola water every half hour, and carried her.
  • We had some rain. Just warm wind now and we're not even on badboys thread.
  • Breezy. Warm. Hot earlier.
  • Finally found a cool spot in the garden.
  • Rumbles of thunder in the distance.
  • Apparently it rained around 8am today.

Glad I was still in bed.

Cooler. Overcast. Warm breeze. I love it.

  • 91 here earlier but now the sky, periodically, fills with lightening, thunder rolls and raindrops are forming puddles on the path outside the window! First rain we've had for two months.
  • Dry in Dorset.
  • Two small showers in Sussex but not enough. Went for a walk to find the blood moon. Didn't. But it was lovely to be cool.
  • Woke at 3.30 to very heavy rain crashing against the windows.
  • Some heavy rain earlier- it woke me up. Now bright but very windy.
  • Much cooler. Lovely!
  • TERRIBLE
  • Wet and windy this morning.

Same here. The garden is loving the rain.
  • Very wet and windy. Staying indoors today. Lots of weather and travel warnings.
  • Yaay. Windy and rainy. Yaaay.
  • Had heavy rain earlier this morning, but now bright. There's still a breeze though.
  • Rain in the night. Breezy and cloudy this morning. Not cold.
  • Larvely today
  • Hotting up - not the weather to be stripping paint.

Lovely here. Fresh but not cold.

    Ideal for stripping.

And taking wallpaper off walls later.
  • 27 today... cooler now.
  • Hot as a hot person's hot bits here.
  • Hot as a hot person's hot bits here.
    Ditto

  • yup. Had to have fan in bedroom.
  • Pleasant here
  • Hot.
Good to find, after much baring, digging and weed clearing one of the springs is still running.
    Happy days.
  • Hot at Mum's. Cooler at home as sun's passed over and there's a strip of shade in the garden.
  • Quite warm this eve
  • Pleasantly cool when I put the rubbish out just now, but still too warm indoors.
  • Recycling bin for me Liz.
  • Sat out in garden under umbrella with Lola on the Fatboy beanbag this afternoon, reading Chocky by John Wyndham. Read it right through. It was rather hot. Lovely and cool inside though. Meant to get fresher on Weds so will enjoy it again tomorrow.
  • Sat in the garden all evening. Just come in.
  • Have not been enjoying sun (much! Well a couple of times). Been tidying out small bedroom. OH has torn up about a billion cardboard boxes i know i will regret when we do move...
  • Sat in pub garden with friend last night and the heat when I came home was oppressive. Slept badly.
  • Lovely morning. I was up at 6 and I suspect it will soon be hot.
  • Suspect so too. Have looked at my above comment. Saw something on the internet yesterday about the difference between a million and a billion. A million seconds is about 11 days. A billion is 34 years or thereabouts. Clearly it was only a million boxes.
  • Beware of exaggeration!

I have been filling holes with Polyfilla - must have been thousands of the damn things :)
  • Lovely today. Warm but not suffocating.
  • Hot. But tomorrow, it is getting fresher they say. Sigh.
  • Loookin gooooood outta ther today. Much fresher feel too.

    Yippee!
  • Cloudy but a lovely temp.
  • There is no bright blue sky at the moment. Strange...

In the words of Chicken Licken, 'The sky is falling down!'
  • *sobs quietly and mourns hammock*
  • *weeps with relief*
