send clips or clean copy if offering reprints?

I am offering reprints to a magazine that stipulates they do not accept queries by email, so I am posting them. Question is: do I send them copies of the clips or do I send the clean, word processed documents?

Always crisp, clean presentation; assuming you wish the submission to be considered.

The short covering letter should include details of where and when the article was previously used.
