We're getting the side-wash of Storm Abigail (it's the first one to be named in the UK) which means rain and wind, but not as bad as you are going to get it. We have to go to Corlay later, which is at the other end of the road on which we live. It's filthy: there's a new project going on here to put cables underground in a line or two all across Brittany, and the centre for the pipes and the workers is about half a kilometre up the road. Lots of lorries, tractors pulling trailer-loads of pipes, and diggers, all spreading mud everywhere. They scraped the muck to the sides yesterday - not a lot of good if the rain washes it all back out again.
Far too warm; the day's forecast rain has gone away, nipping past to the left of Finisterre and heading to, um, you. *slinks off to hang washing out, feeling guilty*

I think Storm Abigail arrived in West Cork last night... and doesn't want to go away!

More to come tomorrow apparently.

Foggy here today - went to hospital and back with volunteer drivers and they were lovely, but worried about fog.
OH went to collect prescription and had to change when he got home.
It's illogical but after years in a hot climate I don't feel the cold - yet.
Rain, but not much.
I'm not cold, but I wouldn't call it warm.
*thinks that's covered it adequately*

The sky has cleared in patches, but there's still lots of dark clouds lurking, so we keep getting random showers. The breeze had died down too.
Might have to go for a walk.
B-)
Drizzly round the war memorial today but not enough to stop the parade.
